Summary:

This report summarizes the effort to populate Occupational Interest Profiles (OIPs) for occupations new to the O*NET-SOC 2010. These new occupations are either new and emerging occupations or occupations identified within the 2010 Standard Occupational Classification. OIPs were developed by generating RIASEC (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional) interest profiles for the new occupations. OIPs provide an important link between the O*NET system and interest-based assessments used in career counseling and other applied settings. Expert rating methodologies and analyses are included within the report.
