An individual taking the IP completes the following steps:
- reads an overview of the purpose of the tool and how she can use her results,
- learns how to complete the IP,
- answers questions about whether or not she would like to do various work activities,
- learns how to self-score her IP,
- uses the color coded system to easily and accurately tally her results for six interest areas.
The following slides provide sample illustrations of some key parts of the IP.
