O*NET 14.0 Database
June 2009 Release

New in 14.0
-----------

The June 2009 release of the O*NET 14.0 database represents the third
major change to the taxonomy. 153 new and emerging (N&E) occupations
identified within 17 in-demand industry clusters have been added to the
O*NET-SOC taxonomy. The revised taxonomy includes 1102 occupational
titles, 965 of which represent O*NET data-level occupations. Details of
this update and implementation of the O*NET-SOC taxonomy can be found
online at:

The current release will retain the skills information contained within
the 13.0 database. New analyst-based skills information for the entire
set of 833 updated occupations within the 14.0 database is currently
being developed. The release of this information is targeted for the
winter of 2009.
